it's by erin was born out of the idea that normal people can make smart looking stuff. Erin Salez is a Board Certified Music Therapist, a Social Worker, and a dedicated crafter. Sewing since the age of five or six... or eight (who can remember), Erin's goal is not only to promote social justice and personal sanity, but to accessorize the public with bold, unique, and artistic pieces.

About the fabrics - Shopping for the fabrics is generally done in small quantities on the garment/fashion district in NYC. There, tons of fabric stores can be found with a wide array of choices. Aside from sewing, Erin's hobbies include random creative pursuits such as: knitting, crocheting, photography, people watching, subway riding, music listening and making, and traveling - when possible. She also likes to advocate for Music Therapy and some social causes.
